xHamster

What it is

xHamster mixes amateur uploads, studio clips, photo galleries and an active community with profiles, comments and messaging. It is especially strong for amateur and international content and has had a verified-uploader program for years.

Free vs Premium

Browsing is free with ads. xHamster Premium removes ads and unlocks exclusive and higher-quality videos. We could not confirm the current price from outside the checkout, so check it on the site; cams and paid creator content are billed separately.

Ads and risks

Ads are moderate, with cam promos heavily woven in. Some third-party ads redirect to dating or cam sign-ups.

Downloads and quality

Downloads are limited and depend on the uploader and tier. Quality ranges from phone video to HD/4K on newer uploads.

Account and access

No account is needed to watch; one is needed to comment, upload or message. xHamster uses age verification in several US states and in regions such as the UK rather than blocking them, so you may be asked to verify.

Mobile

The mobile site is polished and easy to browse.

Who it suits

Fans of amateur and community content who like comments, profiles and galleries alongside video.
